Nu nog maar een keer, maar wellicht nu korter.
Remekrachtiger onder de motorkap aan stuur zijde. Een grote zwarte trommel met je hoofdrem cilinder erop. Zit een dikke stugge nylon (meestal) slang op (12mm dik). zit direct aan je inlaat spruitstuk met een terug slag ventiel in het midden. Als hier een lek/scheurtje in zit gaat je motor slecht stationair lopen en slecht remmen. Sleutelo die slang los van de trommel. Met lopende motor je duim erop en je moet een sterk vacuum voelen. beweeg de slang en controleer voor lekkage.
Je kunt ook de stuuge slang vervangen door een stuk handzame rubber slang. Als je motor weer keuren vertoond, de slang met een tang goed plat (dicht) knijpen. Als ie dan plots goed loopt is het blijkbaar je rembekrachtiger.
