Van de prijs van de stopzetter word je iets minder gelukkig, €130 bij MB zonder korting, misschien in Nederland nog duurder. Misschien dat het ergens anders nog wel goedkoper is.

Voorzichtig monteren is belangrijk, anders gebeurt hetzelfde als bij Robbie T:

Het is belangrijk dat de haak van de stopzetter inhaakt en niet duwt. Een beschrijving kan je hier vinden:

Je kan het ook testen door na het inhaken de stopzetter rechtstandig eruit te trekken, dan moet je iets voelen trekken.

Het is trouwens al een heel gepruts om de stopzetter erin te krijgen, zoveel ruimte is er niet.

Omdat de stopknop niet werkt bij verkeerde montage, zorg ervoor dat je de luchtinlaat kan afsluiten met een plankje of iets dergelijks, daarvoor zal je waarschijnlijk de brede zuigmond even los moeten maken. Mocht de motor toch op hol slaan, dan kan je het plankje voor de luchtinlaat houden om de motor te stoppen. Dat werkt sneller dan de dieseltoevoer afsluiten.
