De uitlaatkleppen hebben altijd het meeste te lijden vanwege de hete uitlaatgassen die langsstromen.

Een toegenomen klepspeling kan wijzen op afzettingen op de klep of klepzitting.

Als het echt zo hard is gegaan, dan is er iets mis met kleppen of klepzittingen van de betreffende cylinders.

De kleppen zullen niet snel een zuiger raken, ook bij weinig klepspeling, maar goed is het niet.

Zoals Leon al schrijft, er zijn verschillende drukstukjes te koop voor de M110-motor. In onderstaand plaatje is het nummer 4:

Overigens hef je daarmee de slijtage aan klepzitting niet op, en de klep komt steeds dieper te liggen, waardoor de ademhaling steeds moeilijker wordt.

Uiteindelijk zal je, zeker als je rijdt op LPG, moeten denken aan een koprevisie. Het is niet ongewoon om nog wat meer te vinden en dat je een complete revisie moet doen, met andere woorden, het kosten altijd meer geld dan je denkt.
