Alternatief is de vijfbak laten reviseren, kost wel wat, maar dan heb je wel een vijfbak waar je een paar honderdduizend kilometer mee kan rijden.

Als je een vierbak wil monteren, moet je wel de bijbehorende zaken kopen: koppelingscylinder, aandrijfas, schakelstangen, eventueel andere kilometerkabel enz.

Verder zijn de vijfbakken (zeker met 414.000 km) van slechte kwaliteit, lees hier maar van iemand die er verstand van heeft:



Je zou kunnen beginnen met een controle van de koppelingscylinders (even losmaken bij de koppeling, kijken of er vloeistof uit lekt), remvloeistof verversen en oliewissel van de vijfbak.

Koppeling slipt verder niet?

Heb sinds een maand een 240D uit 1983 gekocht. (414000km.) Nu is het zo dat hij echt heerlijk rijdt alleen soms wil de auto niet meer schakelen wanneer ik lang in z'n vijf (heel soms ook andere versnellingen) heb gereden. Kan dit aan een versleten koppeling liggen of is dit een vaker voorkomend probleem bij vijf bakken. Krijg hem als het ware niet meer uit z'n versnelling zodra ik een beetje begin te rommelen komt hij na loop van tijd weer weer terug. Zelf heb ik het gevoel dat het aan de koppeling ligt omdat die soms ook erg vreemde geluiden maakt. Hoor graag van jullie wat het eventueel kan zijn.
