195/80R14 een rolomtrek van 2097.3 en wijkt 5% af, in werkelijkheid rijd je 5 km te snel.
Er mag maximaal 2% verschil in zitten en niet meer.

De andere bandenmaten die op je auto kunnen zonder problemen zijn 195/70R14 1.1% verschil
en 205/70R14 ook 1.1% verschil. Zo hoort het officieel.

Zoals gezegd door Govert zijn dat bestelbus banden waarvan de wang inderdaad versterkt is.

Nou is mijne flink verhoogd maar ik denk niet dat het zonder verhoging problemen geeft.

Natuurlijk is wel de totale omtrek van het wiel iets groter bij 185 80 14 banden dan bij 175 80 14 banden, maar dat is denk ik niet al te dramatisch (afwijking km. teller enz.).

Ik ben op zoek naar winterbanden voor mijn W123 (200 benzine) bouwjaar 1982.
Standaard horen er, als ik het goed heb begrepen, banden op met de maat 175 (80) R14.

Ik kan nu een setje gebruikte goede Vredestein Snowtrack winterbanden kopen in de maat 185 80 14
Is deze maat geschikt voor montage op mijn auto?

Verder geeft de verkoper aan dat ze geschikt zijn voor op een bestelbusje (hoog draagvermogen)
Is dat op zich een probleem voor montage op mijn auto?
