Let op: de deksel nooit openen als de temperatuur boven de 90ºC is en als de motor warm is, leg dan eerst een dikke lap (of meerdere lappen) over de deksel, draai de deksel dan in de eerste stand om de druk te laten ontsnappen, en pas daarna geheel losdraaien.

dan heb je waarschijnlijk ergens vloeistof lekkage
je kan het systeem onder druk zetten
en zo de lekkage opsporen

Bij modernere auto's kijk ik op het koelvloeistofreservoir of het niveau tussen de min en max zit, liefst als deze warm is. Maar nu komt ie, hoop dat ik een niet al te domme vraag stel, "waar/hoe controleer ik dit bij m'n coupe uit 1983?"

Of zit er wel ergens een reservoir waar ik totaal overeen gekeken heb?
