De 280CE die ik staan heb heeft dat ook. Even kijken of de 280C van 79 dat ook heeft. Indien niet zet ik de collector eens over, is properder :-)

Dit is om de verbrandingtemperatuur in de cylinder te laten dalen (minder gas doet mee aan de verbranding) en zo de stikstofoxidevorming te verminderen.

Meestal zit de klep vast en/of is verstopt met roet. Je kunt hem gewoon verwijderen, wel alle aansluitingen goed dichtmaken zodat de motor geen valse lucht trekt.
