Ik ben voornemens om de EGR en de luchtpomp op mn 280E buiten gebruik te stellen. De slangen van de luchtpomp zijn slecht en er ontbreekt een demper op de overdruk beveiligingsklep. Volgens mij volstaat het om de riem te verwijderen die de luchtpomp laat draaien. Is dit juist?
Daarnaast de EGR. Ik lees dat sommigen een blindplaatje onder de klep monteren. Maar volstaat het om de vacuumsturing los te halen en af te doppen? En moet je na het buiten werk stellen instellingen aan de motor aanpassen, of blijft hij netjes lopen?
In principe wil ik de auto zo origineel mogelijk laten en daarom wil ik de onderdelen niet demonteren.

De EGR op mijn 280E wordt gestuurd met behulp van omderstaande drukregelaar die aan de gasklep verbonden is. Heeft iemand hier ervaring mee? Ik kan er nl. niets over vinden. De auto is van origine Zwitsers.
