Ik zou deze van bovenaf gaan monteren. De aansluitingen insmeren met vaseline, monteren en de kabel goed opbinden. Voor wat betreft de banjobouten (1 en 2) het volgende: als eerste altijd nieuwe koperen ringen monteren. Deze zijn relatief zacht en dus nog in te drukken tijdens het vast draaien van de banjobout. Omdat een banjobout hol is zul je deze met een kleiner moment vast moeten gaan zetten. Vastzetten totdat de koperen ring klem zit en vervolgens nog maximaal een kwart slag doordraaien. Voor wat betreft de leidingwartels, aandraaien totdat je de leiding niet meer kunt bewegen en vervolgens deze ook maximaal nog een kwart slag door draaien. Vervolgens de auto starten en even laten lopen, checken of er brandstof lekt. Zo ja, de betreffende bouten natrekken en weer testen.

Het gaat dan om de brandstofpomp en filter. En ik zou ook willen weten of het nog uitmaakt of ik de stroomdraden van de pomp van bovenaf of van onderaf vastmaak (kan het over de grond slepen dan misschien).
