Je hebt geluk gehad dat er geen delen tussen de ketting zijn gekomen. Ik heb al 2x gehad dat de ketting oversprong door een kapotte vacuumpomp (bij OM621 en OM615). Inderdaad kan dit vooraf ook een tikkend geluid geven.

De oude pomp eens goed bekeken en ik vermoed dat een van de twee steuntjes is afgescheurd, ouderdom metaal moeheid.., en dat deze iedere keer een fractie werd opgetild en dat dat de tik veroorzaakte totdat het asje afbrak bij de andere steun.
Dus Jurgen als je nog een vacuümpomp hebt liggen kun je die eens uitwisselen, half uurtje werk.

Je zit het asje met hieraan de afgebroken steun liggen en de andere steun met het laatste stukje as staat ernaast

Ik ben op zoek naar iemand die mij even kan helpen met mijn prive camper. Ik heb een 2.5 diesel blok van de W124 erin liggen, en onze monteur kan momenteel niet achterhalen waar een bepaalde tik vandaan komt. Is er iemand die erg goed thuis is in de Mercedes diesels, misschien bereid en beschikbaar om mij te helpen? Tegen betaling uiteraard.

Mijn camper staat momenteel in Nieuwegein in onze hal.
