Met koude carburateur staat het bimetaal gespannen en is het naar rechts gedraaid. Loopt de motor, dan wordt het chokehuis verwarmd dmv koelwater en een 12V aansluiting. Dit gaat heel snel, laat de motor maar eens draaien vanaf koude toestand en kijk aan de voorkant van je carb naar het "RICH" pijltje. Dat draait nu langzaam naar links en sluit het bypasschokekanaal af.
Draait het niet naar links moet je het volgende doen: de drie platte schroefjes van je chokehuis even wat lossen en het geheel naar links draaien, nu zet je handmatig minder spanning op het bimetaal. Probeer dit net zolang tot de choke in koude toestand naar rechts gedraaid is en in de opwarmfase vrij snel naar links beweegt om na een minuut of 5 helemaal naar links te staan.
Kortom, check dus: -koelwater, komt erin en eruit, stroomt goed door? -12v aansluiting: komt wel spanning op? -draait de choke wel naar links? Zo niet: afstellen dmv verdraaien chokehuis.
Succes, het is een doodeenvoudige carburateur, zal wel goedkomen.
