Ik heb mijn lampen aan een clublid verkocht. Heb er nu Europese vierkante lampen in. En die geven een stuk beter licht.

Parkeerlichten in het knipperlicht kan je laten zitten als je het knipperlicht vervangt voor een wit knipperlicht. Parkeerlichten mogen namelijk alleen wit of geel uitstralen. Anders verhuizen naar de koplamp.

Alternatief is de hele koplampunit te veranderen naar Europees, maar dat zal wat duurder zijn.

Er wordt gekeurd op lichtbeeld en er moet officieel een E in een cirkel op het glas staan, dat betekent Europees goedgekeurd.

Helemaal ombopuwen naar europes units kan natuurlijk ook, maar is een stukkie prijziger en op zich is het ook wel leuk om de amerikaanse oorsprong te zien.

Wat ze vaak doen is de buitenste lampen, dimlicht en grootlicht, vervangen door europese lampen. De USA omlijsting en eventueel het gele mistlicht blijft dan gewoon bestaan.

De echte USA Sealed-Beam lampen geven een lichtbeeld wat hier in Nederland totaal niet is toegestaan.

Ook moeten de stadslichtjes in de knipperlichten uitgeschakeld worden.
