Moeten is dwang maar die flexibele buis heeft wel een functie en dat is namelijk de inlaatlucht opwarmen in koude omstandigheden. Ik ben niet helemaal thuis in de benzine wereld van jouw auto maar vroeger zat er zelfs op de aanzuigkant van het luchtfilter een klep die je op de zomer en winterstand kon zetten. Op de zomerstand ging de inlaatlucht vanuit het front van de auto direct richting carburateur. Op de winterstand werd deze weg afgesloten en werd de intaatlucht aangezogen vanaf het uitlaatspruitstuk dat warm werd wanneer de motor eenmaal liep. Zodoende heb je (bijna) geen bevroren carburateurs of brandstofsystemen meer.

Ik zou dus deze buis monteren.

Mijn zus rijdt benzine die heeft het namelijk wel.
