Origineel werd in alle Mercedessen een Becker radio geleverd.

In de W115 dan bv een Becker Mexico Casette, het oude chroom model met de grijze streepjes zoals in de Km-klok.
Deze zijn ook nu nog prijzig.

Er zijn ook nieuwe radio's met USB en bluetooth in dit oude ontwerp te krijgen tegenwoordig. Deze wilde ik graag inbouwen maar ze zijn me net wat te duur...

In mijn 220D zit een Philips Casette radio uit die tijd, heb er zelfs een boekje bij. Behalve de casette doet hij het nog prima, moet denk ik eens schoongemaakt worden...

Geluk van de W115 is wel dat de radioschacht de tegenwoordig nog courante grootte heeft en dus alle moderne radio's ook passen :)
