Ben ondertussen zelf aan de slag gegaan en met hulp van Ron (de 280TE dude)
hebben we geconstateerd dat de afvoerpijpjes total verrot waren.
1 zijde was nog te reddden, de andere werd na schoonmaken en ontroesten 1 cm lang.
Ik zou het liefste de boel willen vervangen, maar omdat ik binnenkort op vakantie ga leek het me toch fijn een droge auto te hebben.
Dus als ge het nie wit: pur of kit.
Na het ontroesten heb ik de pijpjes geschilderd, met tape het grootste gat dichtgemaakt en de rubbere slangen er goed opgeschoven.
Ik had nog een grote maat krimpkous en die heb ik er nog extra omheen gedaan en warmgestookt. Om er toch zeker van te zijn dat hij verlopig niet lekt heb ik de naden met sanitair kit afgedicht.
Die avond begon het flink te regenen en hij heeft de test volstaan.
Dus voorlopig een droge auto! maar voor hoe lang en wat is de goede oplossing om er zeker vanaf te komen?
Dat wordt dan het volgende probleem.

Maar ik moet wel zeggen ondanks de problemen, het is echt heerlijk zo'n dakje, ik heb hem dit jaar al heel vaak open gehad, zelfs de kids vragen als we instappen of het dak open mag.
Ach het blijft een hobby...
