Zoals de meeste 'nieuwe' leden op dit forum, zal ik mij en mijn nieuwe aanwinst ook even kort voorstellen. Ik ben Mike Bakker, 20 jaar, en woonachtig in Losser (Twente). In het dagelijkse leven ben ik student. Sinds september '10 ben ik de trotse eigenaar van een Mercedes-Benz W123, 200D uit december '82 in de kleurstelling "Surfblau" (KC 900).

Mijn voorliefde voor Mercedes is ontstaan door mijn bijbaan; ik ben werkzaam bij een taxibedrijf. Zowel als planner en als chauffeur. Via een kennis/collega kwam ik in aanraking met het type W123. Al vanaf het eerste moment vond ik het een geweldig model! En dit is tot op heden nog niets veranderd...

De zoektocht naar mijn eerste auto heeft bijna een jaar in beslag genomen. Marktplaats, Autoscout24 en Autotrack werden wekelijks, en soms zelfs dagelijks, afgezocht, op zoek naar die ene auto... Halverwege september vorig jaar was het dan zover. Ik zag de advertentie staan en heb direct gebeld; nog dezelfde dag gekeken of het inderdaad een mooie auto was. Twee dagen later stond de auto bij ons thuis op de oprit... De auto heeft mij tot op de dag van vandaag nog niet in de steek gelaten en ik hoop ook dat ik er nog vele jaren (rij)plezier van kan hebben!
