Goede ontsteking is voorwaarde 1 om backfires te voorkomen; onlangs moest ik ook mijn bougiekabels vernieuwen vanwege problemen met de onsteking (geen backfires, want geen LPG).
Verdelerkap en rotor in topconditie is ook belangrijk, en dat je klepspeling in orde is.

Bij deze wil mezelf graag even voorstellen. Ben sinds eind vorig jaar besmet geraakt met het Benz virus. Voorheen een trouwe klassieke 900 (saab) rijder geweest. Vorig jaar heb ik mezelf verwend met een 280CE uit '85. In zeer goede staat, automaat, met MB tex, alles erop en er aan. Ook LPG.......

Ik rij veel met de 280, zo'n 25k per jaar. Het is mijn gezinsauto (met 3 kleine kinderen) en voorlopig wordt mijn 'hobby' nog gedoogd door mijn vriendin :). Omdat ik graag voor langere tijd gedoogd wil blijven, heb ik mij tot dit forum gewend. Ik sta de laatste tijd namelijk iedere week bij mijn garage met de 280CE. Een issue met LPG/Backfire/slecht stationair en een continu vastzittende stuwschijf. Ik zal een nieuwe thread opzetten over mijn probleem, want dit is niet de juiste plek.

Met andere woorden: ik heb wat hulp nodig om na te gaan wat ik precies moet doen om mijn vriendin geen gelijk te laten krijgen over mijn 280CE....... :P
