Hallo, met wat of wat voor spul kan ik het beste mijn Mercedes beschermen tegen roest?
Het betreft het deel onder de deuren. Bij de krikgaten.
Ze zijn nu nog in orde maar door het verwissellen van wat wielen is er wat vliegroest komen zitten.
Is dit met Bitac(ooit eens van gehoord ken het verder niet) of met gewoon auto lak?
Of wellicht iets anders?

Is eigenlijk voor de Vito maar hij past ook in de W123.
Daarna een potkrikje kopen en in de kofferbak leggen en de originele krik nooit meer in de krikgaten stoppen.

Als het metaal al wat ligte corrosie heeft en je smeert t weg dan kan het daar onder nog verder roesten, zou dan wel zorgen dat het metaal goed schoon//kaal is voor je het afsluit
Al iets redelijk aan de roest kant is zou ik het goed conserveren maar niet afsluiten.
Lijnolie met verlopen olie gebruik ik nog wel is om iets goed te conserveren, vooral holle ruimtes.
Nadeel je kan t niet meer overschilderen/lakken.
En voor de rest roest is gewoon klote lol, nieuwe stukken ergens in lassen is het probleem niet echt, maar dan de kanten waar je niet bij kan goed conserveren is lastiger.
Als er een nieuw stukje in gelast moet worden zou ik niet overlapen met ijzer, maar koud tegenelkaar.

Ik heb het helemaal bijgewerkt met hammerrite, ik kan jullie vertellen dat dat mooi werkt en het ziet er prachtig uit.

Je hebt toch eerst de vliegroest met iets verwijderd?

Idd eerst de roest verwijdert en daarna met hammerritevetvrij vetvrij gemaakt en geschilderd en gerold met een roller, echt goed gelukt.
Ik zal eens op fotoke maken en er op zetten.

Hoi zou heen hammerite gebruiken zit siliconen in
verder zou ik gewoon een rc 125 gebruiken.
rc 125 is gewoon de benaming bij ons voor tectyl
