Afgelopen weekend een lange tocht gemaakt met de Benz naar zuid Duitsland, zeer lang 150 gereden over natte wegen met een klacht van mijn vriendin tot gevolg: een natte sok! Ik schrok er meteen van omdat ik eens hier een topic gelezen heb waar de bijrijders ook klaagden over natte voeten vanwege een roestgat in het binnenscherm... Hier ben ik ook bang voor.

Ik zal zo snel mogelijk (morgen) foto's uploaden om de locatie van de nattigheid te laten zien. Omdat het mijn dagelijkse vervoer betreft kan ik niet zomaar plaatwerk gaan veranderen, wel de matten en een beetje bekleding aan de binnenkant.

Beschrijving van de locatie: de rechterzijde van de vloer van de bijrijder, van de drempel voor de stoel tot het scharnier van de deur. De nattigheid bevind zich uitsluitend tot dorpelhoogte, de deur is droog.

Edit: Foto's, omcirkelt met blauw is de nattigheid, in de andere foto wijzen de pijlen naar de rand van de isolatielaag, waar een beetje water staat.

Kan natuurlijk 1000 dingen zijn, maar ik zou beginnen met controleren of de scharnierbak van de motorkap niet verstopt zit. Ook gelijk even de staat checken van de rubbers in het schutbord, om de kabelboom.

Jup, vast een badje achter de voorstoelen... Ellende is dat, vooral als dat water onder die isolatielaag op de bodem gaat zitten. Krijg je nooit meer droog, tenzij je die met schroevendraaier en plamuurmes losmaakt. Ik heb het toen weer dichtgesmeerd met RX10...

Ben ook bezig met "gaten " bij de voetjes. Wat ik doe is in de garage, de straalkachel een uurtje onder en een bouwlamp aan de binnenkant. Daarna laat deze isolatie-plaat zich mbv een plamuurmes ect. "redelijk " makkelijk los trekken.

Ik heb nu de foto's toegevoegd.

Bedankt voor het meedenken;
Achter de stoel is alles kurkdroog.
De scharnierbak is niet verstopt.

Hoe kan ik de kabeldoorvoer het beste bekijken? Vanaf binnen of vanaf motorruimte?
Vanmiddag zal ik het schuifdak eens open doen om te kijken of het water wordt afgevoerd (waar zit de afvoer hiervan?)

Ik blijf nu gewoon rijden zonder de matten en met een vochtvreter, zodat geen soppige bende blijft/wordt.

het zou de afvoer van het dak kunnen zijn maar dan aan de voorkant
maar dat denk ik niet ,want dan zie je ook aan je dak dat het lekt bij de afvoer
hoe zit het met de deur rubbers ,omdat je nogal snel gereden heb in de regen kan het daardoor ook naar binnen

Heb je gekeken of het dashboard nat is aan de onderkant? Ik had hetzelfde euvel. Via de kabeldoorvoer liep het van voor naar achter. Het bleek het rubber van de voorruit te zijn.

hoi ,

ga je raamrubber aan de buitenkant ook maar eens kitten tussen glas en rubber. Daar had ik vorige week ook lekkerij, het liep zo de a stijl af, langs de speaker, langs de rechterkant van het dasboardkastje. En dan komt het daar terecht waar jij het nat hebt.
Soms zie je het niet, maar kijk maar eens goed in het rechtse hoekje. Soms zie je ook een wit kalklaagje,aan de binnenkant tussen rubber en glas.

Mijn auto heeft hier ook last van. De scharnierkannen van de motorkap zijn goed en ook de kabeldoorvoeren heb ik al nagekeken maar daar is niets aan te zien. Als ik optrek lijkt het ook wel of ik water hoor stromen maar ik kan niet vinden waar het zich eerst verzameld. Ergens achter het dashboard ? Heeft iemand een idee ?

kijk is of de twee afvoerslangen van de parafaan bakken niet verstopt zitten
het zijn de zwarte slangen die tegen je schutboord aanzitten
als die bakken zich met water vullen dan kan dat het geklots zijn

Ik heb net wat foto's gemaakt, zie hieronder.
Er is nergens onder het dashboard nattigheid te vinden, ook bij de kabeldoorvoeren is niets te bekennen. Het hoekje bij de voorruit ziet er ook goed uit. Mijn verdenking is nu het gescheurde rubber van de doorvoer naar de deur. De deurrubbers zien er goed uit, op het hoekje na, hier is ooit aan geknutseld, maar het lijkt niet te lekken.

Je kabeldoorvoerrubber (3x woordwaarde) is kapot, dit is een mogelijkheid, kosten iets van een 2€ dacht ik bij de dealer, is nu wel een W126 onderdeeln° en worden schaars

Ik moet dus eigenlijk sowieso dat rubbertje vervangen, goedkoop onderdeel maar het ziet er niet gemakkelijk vervangbaar uit! Heeft iemand tips? Als ik nu moet raden zou ik zeggen: deurpaneel eraf, vacuumleidingen lostrekken, rubber eromheen, leidingen weer terug en klaar. (gevalletje makkelijker gezegd dan gedaan

)

En over het kitten van de voorruit, aan de buitenzijde het rubber beetje opentrekken en daar een laagje kit tussen proppen? over gewoon in het hoekje, zonder het rubber te openen?

inderdation, paneel er af vacuumleidingen los van het pompje (even kijken welke boven zit) klein centje
ik zou het hele raam doen (aan de buitenkant), heb ik ook dus net moeten doen maar nu is het goed.

je kan ook dat stukje zijkant bij de voeten er even af halen daar achter zit een soort van bakje daar zit ook een doorvoer van een antenne kabel of anders zit daar een dop in die kan er ook af zijn
je ruitewisser afvoer gootje van de rechterkant kan verstopt zitten of afgebroken je hebt zoveel mogelijkheden van water
maar meestal is er toch wel ergens een slechte plek

En als het wel het voorruitrubber is, dan zou ik niet zomaar gaan kitten. Wie weet wat voor ellende je daarmee tijdelijk verstopt of misschien wel creëert. Dan wordt het tijd om de vooruit er eens uit te halen en een nieuw rubber te plaatsen. Bovendien kun je dan ook vaststellen of er soms roest onder het rubber zit.
