Hallo,
Ik ben bezig met achterraam rubber te vervangen aangezien moeders de vrouw toch aan het werk is.
Raam ging er relatief eenvoudig uit door het rubber kapot te snijden.

Zo het raam zit er weer in.
Om de lijsten er in te krijgen was toch wel veel werk, kwam zelfs aan het zweten, maar het is gelukt.
Nu maar hopen dat alles ook waterdicht is.

Dat vind ik knap, zelf even een raam eruit halen en weer terug plaatsen zonder schade!!

Om te testen of het waterdicht is kan je de tuinslang er even op zetten en kijken of er water doorsijpelt. Als het niet waterdicht is kan je er een beetje kit inspuiten.

netjes! moet ik ook nog een keertje doen, mijn oude rubber heb ik alleen opnieuw gekit. heb je de oude sierlijst kunnen hergebruiken? origineel rubber gehaald of eentje van steronderdelen?

Hoi Rudy,
Ik heb rubber besteld bij steronderdelen.
De orginele lijsten zitten er weer in. Was wel een drama maar het is gelukt. 2 plaatsen niet 100 % gelukt maar dat komt ook nog wel goed. Probleem was dat ik ze er zo uit had getrokken, maar dat moet toch wel heel voorzichtig gebeuren zo dat ze niet vervormen.
Moest wel 2 gaatjes boren in het rubber voor de achterruit verwarming. Had het oude rubber nog als voorbeeld.

Bij het verwijderen van de lijsten moet je heel voorzichtig zijn, die verbuigen snel waardoor je een probleem hebt.
Dus de lijsten er gewoon uitsnijden, dan gebeurt er niks mee.
Bij het monteren eerst het nieuwe rubber om de ruit plaatsen, dan de lijsten in het rubber monteren en daarna de complete ruit er in trekken.

uitsnijden van de lijsten is een goed idee ja, als je ze nieuw moet kopen kost ook iets van 130rupies.
bij mn voorruit kreeg ik het echt niet voor elkaar hem er weer in te krijgen, toen heb ik hem met dat rubber bij de MB dealer in leidschenveen gebracht. hebben ze weer een eigen rubber gebruikt en verrekend + (verwijderingsbijdrage klein materiaal van 50 euro wat er met moeite nog af ging). grapje koste 450 euro:S.
in de Kluwer staat dat je eerst de ruit in het rubber doet, dan de sierlijsten erin en dat je alles een beetje kan indopen met zeepsop. daarna in de sponning trekken met een touwtje en onder de lippen ook kit rand aanbrengen.
dat het mij niet lukte kan wel kloppen, want ik dacht dat de sierlijsten later erin moesten... maarja achteraf gezien houdt dat het hele zooitje bij elkaar!
Ik kijk nog even of alles nog droog blijft in mn kofferbak, anders toch maar weer eens proberen met de goede procedure!

Hoi,
Ga er maar vanuit dat ongeveer elke nieuwe rubber lekt, ik heb het altijd later in gekit.
Als je ruit/rubber in kit hoef je de boven zijde niet te doen, water kruipt niet omhoog, rubber/ plaatwerk kun je beter rondom doen daar kun je met het tuitje van de patroon makkelijker onder komen.
Restant weg wassen met wasbenzine.
Dat werkt het beste en zeker geen thinner gebruiken daar kan de rubber slecht tegen.
