Omdat ik toch met mijn Benz bezig ben...
Welke onderste sierstrippen horen er op mijn Mercedes (1977 280CE)
Aan de rechterkant zitten namelijk brede strips en aan de linker kant smalle strips.
Hieronder foto's van wat ik bedoel.

Die brede is zowiezo type2/3, want die zitten op mijn 230CE MY82

Op mijn 300TD van 79 zit ook die brede, en op de 300CD van 78 ook dacht ik. echter het komt mij wel zeer bekend voor.

Ik heb er een van 77 gesloopt, misschien heb ik het daar gezien. Maar dan zal ik het nog moeten hebben, ergens.?

Ah oke. Dan ga ik denk ik alles omzetten naar de brede strip omdat dit mij ook beter lijkt voor afscherming. Heb je eventueel nog twee linker stukken Wietse voor een coupe? :?:

Het stukje dat op het voorspatbord zit, moet dat dan ook zo'n brede strip zijn?

Oh ja, en die dorpel moet ik achter nog aanpakken. Ik ben eerst bezig met de voorkant.

er horen op die van jou de smalle strippen dat is van de eerste modellen maar dat is een stuk moeilijker te verkrijgen

Hmm okee, ik vind die smalle strippen verdacht veel lijken op de 'beltline' strip, die over de hele auto loopt, of ligt dit aan mij?

zit verschil in
1ste foto zijn die brede volgende zijn smalle en dan nog die van het midden

De smalle strippen zitten op een serie 0.5 en de brede op serie 1,2 & 3
Kijk eens of je motorkapscharnier bakken hebt?
Met scharnierbak horen de brede strips erop en zonder scharnierbak horen de smalle strips op de auto.

Ja mijn auto heeft motorkapscharnierbakken. Maar dat heeft elke 123 toch? Je bedoel de afwateringsbak waar het scharnier invouwt neem ik aan?

Tsjong, weer wat geleerd! En ik dacht nog wel dat die van mij een heel vroege Benz was. Van 1977 met eindnummer 1118. (1118e coupe ? )
Maar inderdaad die van mij heeft dus wel scharnierbakken! Dan ga ik op zoek naar die brede lijsten die geloof ik genoeg op ebay staan. Bedankt!

Hoi,

Als je die brede lijsten gaat gebruiken hoort er ook een rubberlijst op de koker want daar komen die lijsten tegen aan als de deur dicht is.
Dit om het opspattend water van de onderzijde van de deur te houden.

Hoi,

Als je die brede lijsten monteert en de deuren zijn gesloten zie je als je op de grond gaat liggen aan de onderzijde een opening.
Deze ruimte wordt opgevuld door een rubber die op klemmen wordt geklikt op de koker ( voor een leek is de koker die balk waar de openingen inzitten voor de krik).
Als je er niet uitkomt hoor ik het wel en zal ik een foto plaatsen.

Als er in de koker over de lengte van de 2 deuren gaten zitten voor de klemmen van die rubberlijst dan heeft het er ooit onder gezeten.
Dan lijkt het me vreemd dat het er niet meer opzit.

Ja dat is dus juist het vreemde, die gaten zitten er ook niet terwijl het nog wel de originele (verotte) dorpels zijn.
Dus waarschijnlijk is mijn auto dus wel geleverd met de smalle strippen (of gaat iemand mij nu verbeteren :whistle:

)
