Dagtrip naar Doel ("spookdorp")

Plaats hier verslagen van reizen met je Mercedes klassieker. Dit mag een dagje Vroomshoop of Middelburg zijn, of een reis naar Moskou, zolang de trip of reis maar met je Mercedes is gemaakt. :)

Gisteren naar Doel in België geweest, een indrukwekkende dag. Het dorpje is geheel verlaten op een paar woningen na vanwege de toekomstige uitbreiding van de haven van Antwerpen. Al decennia wordt er in de politiek gepleit voor een uitbreiding waarbij het dorpje Doel (Vlakbij de kerncentrale Doel) van de kaart wordt geveegd. Het vreemde is dat de gebouwen en woningen tot op de dag van vandaag nog niet gesloopt zijn en deze zijn daardoor in verval geraakt.

Soo dat is wel een gave trip!

Een tijdje geleden ree ik ook ergens door een havengebied in Antwerpen en daar stonden ook heel veel verlaten fabrieken en industrieele gebieden. Ben er nooit gestopt, maar lijkt mij ook wel gaaf om een kijkje te nemen.. :think:

Ook een mooie locatie om de W123 op de foto te zetten :)

Leuk tripje Chris! Heb ook een paar keer naar het 'spookdorp' gezocht, echter... nooit gevonden. Voor ik het wist zat ik midden in de haven van Antwerpen. (Waar je overigens ook prima plaatjes kunt schieten!)
