Specifieke zaken omtrent het rijden op diesel kunnen hier geplaatst worden zodat we alle zaken omtrent diesel hier verzameld hebben staan.

De eerste 1000 km zit erop met de 300D uit 1978. Nog weinig aan hoeven doen: een V snaar vervangen, olie+filter en kvs ververst. Auto rijdt geweldig maar 1 ding vind ik minder prettig:

De bak schakelt pas rond de 35-40 naar de derde versnelling. Trekt netjes op in 2 maar zelfs met gas los schakelt hij niet eerder op dan de 35. Bij koude motor vind ik dit wat laat......

Ik heb een oud model bak zonder vacuumsturing. Bak schakelt wel zijdezacht en zonder slip over.....

Wanneer schakelt jullie automaat in de 300D over naar 3?

Dat doet het 300D blok uit de auto waar ik nu in rijd ook. Het toerental zakt daarbij wel flink, dus ik denk niet dat je hem eerder op zou willen schakelen. De versnellingen liggen gewoon erg ver uit elkaar.

Volgens het werkplaatshandboek is de snelheid 32 km/u voor schakelen naar 2 naar 3:

dus die 35 km/u is niet ongewoon. Je draait dan ongeveer 2300 toeren.
